Cheerleading

Being a part of the WSE cheerleading team is like being a part of a family. Within this program the students can learn cheers to lead their school in spirit, as well as jumps and work on some basic tumbling skills. The cheerleaders not only show their Braves spirit in the school, but also in the community too. A part of our duties are cheering at WSE assemblies, cheering the Lakeview High School Spirit night pregame, walking in the Lakeview Spirit Parade, and helping in our community any way we can. WSE cheerleading devotes their time to making sure others feel special and we as coaches strive to make our athletes feel the same! WSE cheerleading is reserved for 5th graders, this enables the cheerleaders to show themselves selves as leaders throughout the last school year here at WSE.

About the Coaches:

Coach Bri is a Special Ed. Paraprofessional here at WSE. She has been cheering competitively since she was in 3rd grade and continued to the collegiate level at Liberty University. Coach Bri is also one of the coaches of the Heritage High School cheer team and loves being a part of this sport.

Coach Simpson is a 1st Grade teacher here at WSE. Her love of cheerleading came from her daughter who cheered all through out her school years. Coach Simpson strives for each cheerleader to be the best they can possibly be in every aspect of their life.
